Women's Ministry

WELCOME to the Women’s Enrichment Ministry of Grove Avenue Baptist Church! We are blessed by the grace of God and aspire to be Women of Excellence in every word and deed that it may bring glory to our Savior Christ Jesus.

The Women’s Enrichment Ministry seeks to enable all women to understand and grow in their relationship with Christ, to find ways to fulfill Christ’s purpose in their lives, to reach beyond themselves to minister to others, and to develop a global vision for sharing Christ.

In following with the theme of our church for 2008, the Women’s Enrichment Ministry strives to be: “Women Living and Proclaiming Grace and Truth”. We hope you will join us as we live and proclaim the grace and truth of our Jesus Christ.

Below are some of the regular activities planned by the Women’s Enrichment Ministry – Come and join us!

• Bible Studies - various days throughout the week; new studies begin each quarter (Contact: Renelle Russel).
• Conferences and Retreats - Spring and Fall
• Ladies Night Out - Quarterly
• MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers) - 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month
  September through May (Contact: Anastasia Wilkinson).
• Conversations - Moms of Teens, Tweens, and Elementary Kids
  1st Monday evening of the month (Contact: Amy Mahan).
• Missions and Outreach - various projects throughout the year
  (Contact: Carol McLaren).
• Prayer Cell Groups - meetings occur several times throughout the week (Contact: Katie Danso-Danquah).
• Women on Mission - 2nd Tuesday morning of the month
  (Contact: Doris Halenda).
