Agape TowerWorship Center

The worship center at Grove is distinctive. It is built on a theater-in-the-round principle where the seating wraps around the stage. There are two levels: the main floor and a balcony. This worship center seats 1200 persons.

The most prominent feature in the worship center is the "Window of Christ", one of the largest stained glass windows in America. It features symbols from the life of Christ, such as the Star of Bethlehem, the Cross, and a Crown of a King.

This church sanctuary was also built to accommodate Groves' longstanding television ministry. Camera bays are located at the back of the room. There is a media loft in the balcony where extensive lighting, sound & projection systems are controlled.

Information of interest for conference or concert planners:
The stage is divided into 4 sections choir loft, main stage, band, and orchestra pits. (stage diagram)

A powerful and well designed sound system delivers a full range of sound to every seat in the house. The sound system is truly a concert level system suitable for professional concerts without the use of additional PA systems.

Two very bright (7700 ansi lumen) Christie Digital projectors can provide Hi resolution images on 14 foot screens positioned on both sides of the choir loft.

There are large plasma screens located on the balcony wall for stage monitoring and for choir prompting.

AC Power is limited to approximately 60 amps for supplemental lighting needs.

A generator will be needed for concert venues with larger light displays.

The worship center is managed by building operations. For more information contact Barbara Jensen bjensen@groveave.net or call 804-740-8888.
